Mipa 2K HS Clearcoat CC9 (1L) is a VOC-compliant, high-solid acrylic clearcoat suitable for complete and partial paintwork on cars and commercial vehicles.

It is designed to produce a particularly brilliant finish and optimal flow over both solvent-based and water-based basecoats, this clearcoat ensures very fast surface drying and full curing, whether it is oven-dried or left to dry at room temperature.

A significant benefit is its very slow increase in viscosity after the hardener has been added. When combined with Mipa 2K-HS-Härter HS 25 and HS 35 hardeners, Mipa 2K HS Clearcoat CC9 maintains a constant spray viscosity for up to one hour.

This is in contrast to common fast-drying clearcoats, which tend to thicken quickly after the hardener is added, often resulting in a defective flow.

The extended workability of this clearcoat makes it easy to achieve long-lasting paintwork with an ideal flow, leading to reliable application and a significantly reduced risk of paint defects.

Mipa 2K HS Clearcoat CC9 can be polished to an optimal finish immediately after forced drying. It exhibits high resistance to all types of weathering, as well as to chemical and mechanical stresses.

It is also suitable for use as a protective topcoat for neon (daylight fluorescent) colours and offers easy, reliable processing under all climatic conditions.
