The Mipa Binder NC is a high-quality system component designed for the Mipa OC 2K-PUR Autolack HS mixing system, enabling the creation of one-component nitrocellulose paints (Mipa NC) that are resistant to weathering and yellowing.

Supplied in a 3-litre container, this binder is ideal for producing durable nitro finishes for complete or partial paintwork on vehicles and machinery.

When added to ready-mixed Mipa OC colours at 200% by weight, Binder NC transforms them into nitrocellulose-based coatings that deliver excellent adhesion, fast drying, and a satin gloss finish.

For high-gloss results, surfaces can be polished with Mipa Politur after curing.

This product ensures superior performance in automotive refinishing and industrial applications, offering a spreading rate of 6.0 – 8.0 m²/l and a dry coat thickness of 40–60 µm.

Application is straightforward using gravity or HVLP spray guns, with recommended settings of 1.2–1.3 mm nozzle, 2–2.5 bar pressure, and 3–4 spray passes.

The binder requires 40–50% Mipa Verdünnung UN for optimal spray viscosity (18–20 s at 4 mm DIN). Drying times are efficient: dust dry in 5–10 minutes, set to touch in 30–45 minutes, and ready for assembly in 2–3 hours at 20°C.
