The Mipa EP 162-20 is a high-performance two-component epoxy primer in high-build (HB) formulation, designed for superior corrosion protection and durability in demanding industrial environments.

Engineered with zinc phosphate technology, this primer provides active anti-corrosive properties and excellent adhesion to steel, zinced substrates, aluminium, and GRP, making it ideal for commercial vehicles, machinery, and structural components exposed to heavy mechanical and chemical stress.

Finished in grey, Mipa EP 162-20 offers outstanding resistance to chemicals, moisture, and environmental factors.

It's robust epoxy resin base ensures long-term performance and thermal stability, withstanding short-term heat exposure up to 180°C and permanent exposure up to 150°C.

The primer is also suitable for insulating thermoplastic substrates and supports electrostatic application, optimizing efficiency for large-scale projects.

With a fast-drying formula, this product reduces downtime and improves productivity. It delivers excellent filling properties and can be recoated with a wide range of Mipa topcoats, including polyurethane systems, for a complete protective coating solution.

Fully cured in approximately 10 hours at 20°C, Mipa EP 162-20 guarantees a strong, reliable foundation for finishing coats.
